Detox What's it all about? Detox is basically a short term way of eating that eliminates all processed food from your diet and gets you back to a more 'natural' way of eating - unprocessed foods, more veggies, fruit, nuts, pulses, seeds and lots and lots of water. Sounds yucky? It doesn't have to be. There are plenty of ways to make natural food tasty AND filling. Fans of detox plans claim that it makes you feel less lethargic and sluggish, less bloated, clears the skins, makes nails and hair stronger and shinier and even helps peel off excess pounds. Following a detox plan is also highly suitable for vegetarians as meat and fish is usually avoided. Protein is found in nuts, pulse and tofu. We've reviewed two different detox plans.
